Load Capacity
Appropriate castor with the necessary load capacity can be found by using the formula below

C: Minimum load capacity of the castor

E: Empty weight of the application device (tare)

L: Weight of load

N: Number of castor that will be fitted to device

S: Safety factor (1.5<S<2.0)

A much more simple method to obtain the minimum load capacity can be applied by dividing the weight of the loaded device to one less of the number of the castors.

For this purpose the following formula can be used.
